In recent years, I’ve focused increasingly on how we see information. Visualization is more than just graphics—it’s a way of transforming data into understanding. Whether it’s astronomy, history, or scientific concepts, good visualization helps us think.
Right now, I’m developing several projects that explore astronomy, data visualization, and interactive timelines. Each project is built to communicate
something complex in a way that is intuitive, visual, and interactive.
Below is a brief overview of some of my current visualization work.
Astronomy Safari — Curated Deep-Sky Images
A visual guide to nebulae, galaxies and star clusters, organized with simple filters and clean navigation.
Built using HTML, CSS, and vanilla JavaScript.
This project focuses on clarity and the beauty of the night sky.
Interactive HR Diagram (D3.js)
An interactive Hertzsprung–Russell diagram for exploring the relationships between star brightness, temperature, and mass.
Built with D3.js, the project allows users to filter stars by category, magnitude and more.
StarMap Filter — Location-Based Starmap
This tool uses your GPS location to generate a personalized view of the sky above you.
Filters allow you to highlight stars by brightness, distance and type.
It’s designed to make the night sky approachable and personal.
Bright Stars — Interactive Catalog
A sortable and searchable interactive database of 50 of the brightest stars in the night sky.
Useful for students, amateur astronomers or anyone curious about what’s overhead.
Timeline — Scania
A historical interactive timeline focusing on the region of Scania (Skåne) in southern Sweden.
Includes zoom and pan controls, enabling exploration of historical events across time.
Thank you for reading.
